We would like to debut Casper, our blind and deaf little guy! We have only had him a few weeks and he is as sweet as can be! He has a fluid filled swelling on his back that we have scheduled to get taken off and he will get a dental at the same time.

He is available for adoption and would prefer a home with another dog that’s patient with him as he bumps into things. He has learned his current foster’s house and rarely bumps into anything anymore. He has the back yard mapped out and navigates it very well. He knows where the door is to be let back inside. We are working on his house training.

He does need to be crated when left alone. He cannot be in an apartment or townhouse because he doesn’t really have an “inside” voice. Since he is deaf he doesn’t realize how loud he really is and sounds like a combination between an elephant and a pterodactyl with a little bit of a screech owl thrown in. 🤣
